How CraftCorps events and rewards work — read this before you compete.

Reward Currencies

  • Eggs — the main in-game currency. Earn it by playing Battle Royale (kills, survival, mining, crafting, damage). Spend it in the shop or wager it on live matches. Uncapped.
  • Pearls — premium cosmetics currency. Uncapped.
  • MCRC ticket — a progress token toward an MCRC. 5 tickets = 1 MCRC.
  • MCRC (Minecraft Redeem Code) — an official prepaid voucher from Microsoft granting a Minecraft Java & Bedrock license, redeemed on Microsoft's official page. A capped lifetime prize (max 2 ever).
  • Menace Cape — a cosmetic cape, awarded as a contest runner-up prize.

Monthly Video Contest

  • Make a video about CraftCorps and post the YouTube link in #media. Footage must be recorded on the CraftCorps server using the Craft Client launcher (unless staff grant permission).
  • Judged mainly on watch time, plus editing, storytelling and reach. AI is allowed, but excessive AI reliance lowers your score. Ties are broken by staff vote.
  • Winner announced on the 24th each month (1:00 PM IST). Winner gets an MCRC or Discord Nitro (your choice); runner-up gets a Menace Cape.
  • No "free Minecraft" videos, no promoting other servers or launchers, no wrong or outdated info. Winnable once, ever.

Monthly Build Competition

  • Build to the monthly theme. Non-exploit schematics and tutorials are allowed, but original work scores higher. Ties are broken by staff vote.
  • Submit via the build-submission form (MC username, contributors, coordinates, up to 5 screenshots) by the 1st at 6:00 PM IST. Winner announced shortly after.
  • Helpers are allowed, but the build leader must tell staff who is helping before submitting. Joining a team only to claim a reward = disqualification.
  • No griefing — trying to destroy another player's build means disqualification from this and all future build competitions.
  • Winner gets 1 MCRC; runner-up gets a Menace Cape. Winnable once, ever.

Battle Royale

  • Matches auto-start when enough players are online. Bring whatever gear you've earned — SMP gear is fair game.
  • Playing earns eggs and XP (uncapped). Winning earns MCRC tickets — 5 tickets = 1 MCRC.
  • Already earned your MCRCs? Keep playing — eggs and XP never stop.
  • Cheating can result in a Battle Royale ban.

Challenge of the Week

  • A new auto-tracked challenge every week. Just play — the server tracks your progress.
  • Everyone who completes it earns eggs and XP. It is not an MCRC path — it's a bonus for active players.

General MCRC Guidelines

  • Lifetime cap: 2 MCRCs ever, across all sources including Battle Royale. After two, you're done with MCRCs (but keep earning eggs, pearls, capes and Nitro).
  • 30-day cooldown between MCRC claims. Each contest is winnable once, ever.
  • You must have a linked, verified account (Discord ↔ Minecraft) to enter events and claim any MCRC.
  • Staff who judge an event can't win it. All wins are logged against your verified identity.
  • No bypassing — using alternate or a friend's accounts to dodge the cap means a permanent event ban and loss of all progress.
  • Unclaimed MCRCs expire after 30 days. Prizes are revoked if you're later caught cheating.
  • Events labelled "Special Event" are exempt from the cap and cooldown.
