Rules
Read the event and reward rules before you compete.
Reward Currencies
- Eggs are the main in-game currency. Earn them in Battle Royale through kills, survival, mining, crafting, and damage. Spend them in the shop or wager them on live matches. There is no cap.
- Pearls are uncapped currency for premium cosmetics.
- MCRC tickets count toward an MCRC. 5 tickets = 1 MCRC.
- MCRC (Minecraft Redeem Code) is an official prepaid Microsoft voucher for a Minecraft Java & Bedrock license, redeemed on Microsoft's official page. It is a capped lifetime prize (max 2 ever).
- Menace Cape is a cosmetic cape awarded to a contest runner-up.
Monthly Build Competition
- Build to the monthly theme. You may use non-exploit schematics and tutorials, though original work scores higher. Staff vote to break ties.
- Use the build submission form to send your MC username, contributors, coordinates, and up to 5 screenshots by the 1st at 6:00 PM IST. The winner is announced shortly after.
- You can have helpers, but the build leader must tell staff who is helping before submitting. Joining a team only to claim a reward disqualifies you.
- Trying to destroy another player's build disqualifies you from this and all future build competitions.
- The winner gets 1 MCRC, and the runner-up gets a Menace Cape. You can win once, ever.
Battle Royale
- Matches start automatically when enough players are online. You can bring any gear you've earned, including SMP gear.
- Playing earns uncapped eggs and XP. Winning earns MCRC tickets; 5 tickets = 1 MCRC.
- You can keep earning eggs and XP after you've earned your MCRCs.
- Cheating can result in a Battle Royale ban.
Challenge of the Week
- A new challenge starts every week, and the server tracks your progress as you play.
- Everyone who completes it earns eggs and XP. The challenge does not award MCRCs.
General MCRC Guidelines
- Lifetime cap: 1 MCRC ever across all sources, including Battle Royale. You can still earn eggs, pearls, capes, and Nitro after reaching the cap.
- There is a 30-day cooldown between MCRC claims. You can win each contest once, ever.
- You must have a linked, verified account (Discord ↔ Minecraft) to enter events and claim any MCRC.
- Staff who judge an event can't win it. All wins are logged against your verified identity.
- Using an alternate account or a friend's account to get around the cap means a permanent event ban and loss of all progress.
- Unclaimed MCRCs expire after 30 days. Prizes are revoked if you're later caught cheating.
- Events labelled "Special Event" are exempt from the cap and cooldown.
